Renovation
The new Middletown Public Library at 110 Enterprise Center will create exciting new opportunities for learning, creativity, and connection. Along with expanded space for adult and children’s collections and programs, the new library will include an innovation center for hands-on learning and making, a bookstore, and a dedicated teen room. More study rooms, meeting spaces, and flexible after-hours areas will make it easier for everyone to gather, collaborate, and enjoy the library throughout the day.
The renovation will transform the existing building into a bright, open, and welcoming environment that supports the library’s mission—to provide free access to information, materials, and programs both within and beyond its walls.
Designed with sustainability, accessibility, and safety in mind, the new library will feature improved sightlines, abundant natural light, and comfortable spaces for reading, studying, and gathering. Warm materials, vibrant colors, and thoughtful details will give each area its own unique character and sense of belonging.
When complete, the new Middletown Public Library will be a vibrant community hub—a place where people of all ages can learn, create, and grow together.
