With the snow finally melting, work continues at Eastham. The formwork is up and foundations are being poured.
Update: Eastham Public Library Demolition and Historic Building Relocation
With demolition of the previous addition to the 1897 library underway, the historic structure was lifted and rotated 180° to its temporary location. Excavation continues to progress as the site is cleared of tree stumps and debris.

Update: Eastham Public Library Site Prep Underway
Late October marked the start of construction for the Eastham Public Library. Tree stumping and top soil excavation is in progress. With demo to begin on the library addition, the portion of the building from 1897 will soon be lifted and relocated as construction continues.
Eastham Public Library Groundbreaking
After many months of design the Eastham Public Library is finally under construction! Some of the OEA team drove down to the Cape for the ceremony. Seen here are a few of the library staff and trustees, excited for work to begin.
