Libby Couture
Designer
Libby joined Oudens Ello Architecture as a designer in 2025 and has since contributed to a range of cultural, civic, and educational projects. Her work includes a new master plan for the Cahoon Museum of Art, a conceptual design study for the Cotuit Public Library in Barnstable, Massachusetts, and the renovation of the historic Nazzaro Community Center in Boston’s North End. She is currently a project designer for the new 15,800-square-foot Skaneateles Library in Skaneateles, New York, and the transformation of a late-19th-century building into a new home for a private K–6 school in Boston’s South End.
Libby earned her Master of Architecture degree, with a minor in Leadership Studies, from Kansas State University in 2024 and was recognized as a recipient of the Metropolis Future100. Passionate about adaptive reuse and community engagement, she brings a thoughtful, empathetic, and context-sensitive approach to design. Her experience spans a variety of project types and scales, with a particular interest in creating welcoming, meaningful spaces that enrich the public realm.
Outside the office, Libby enjoys exploring the city, spending time outdoors, and pursuing her latest creative interests.
