John was born and raised on a farm in southern Connecticut. He graduated with honors from the School of Architecture at Northeastern University in 2010. While in school, John was the two-time recipient of the Architecture Department’s Design Award and also an active member of Engineers Without Borders, where he traveled to Honduras to work on clean water projects. After graduation, he spent time working and traveling in India before returning home to help run the family farm. John has worked previously at Machado and Silvetti Associates in Boston on both local and international projects and is currently an instructor and a frequent guest critic at Northeastern University and the Boston Architectural College.
John joined the office in 2011 and is involved in some way on all active projects within the office. He also rides bikes and always has a project going on in his local makerspace.
